Three Salon Series Choices on April 2

Join us!!  Choose between two 10:30 a.m. morning concerts in opposite parts of the Twin Cities, or enjoy lovely music at our 7:30 evening concert. Find one that fits your schedule! Plan on arriving a half hour before the concert starts to enjoy some pre-concert refreshments and fellowship.

The first morning Salon concert at the home of Suzanne Greer in Minnetonka, will include flutist Catherine Ramirez performing J.S. Bach’s Chaconne from Violin Partita in D Minor. Believed to have been written after the death of his wife Maria Barbara, Bach seems to have worked through his grief in writing the Chaconne.  The music traverses the entire range of emotions and mental states: sadness, tenderness, questioning, forced optimism.
