Community Concerts
Thursday Musical Community Concerts have started to return. We had 10 performances programmed in 2022-2023 and hope for a bigger slate next year. Most venues are restricting audiences to the local resident population.
Performers this year have included the Lake String Quartet, pianist Amos Lucidi, violin and piano duo Aja Majkrzak and Carson Rose Schneider, clarinet and piano duo Joe Longo and Susan Hellerud, and cellist Nickolai Kolarov.
Wednesday, March 15th, 2:00 p.m., also at Walker Place, pianist Jeana Ogren and oboist Susan Jones will share the performance.
Wednesday, March 22nd, 7:00 p.m. at Flagstone Presbyterian Home in Eden Prairie, the Lake String Quartet will present a program of folk dances from around the world.
Wednesday, April 19, 2:00 p.m. at Walker Place the program will be shared by pianist Jim Reilly and soprano Susanne Hoy
Friday, April 21st, 2:00 at Waverly Gardens, pianist Gail Olszewski will perform half a program of works by female composers. Pianist Jonathan Tauscheck will round out the program with a combination of piano solo and piano vocal duos.
Sunday May 7th is a public performance at the Owatonna Arts Center. At 2:00 p.m. pianist Koki Sato will perform selections from the solo repertoire.

Vivace Initiative
Hello Dear TM Members,
Our Vivace Initiative fundraiser for 2022-23 was successful! We received many generous contributions and our total now is $8,533. We surpassed our 2021-2022 total by $1,800. Thank you to all who contributed!
The Vivace Initiative fundraising campaign targets our operational expenses. These efforts are crucial to the financial health of Thursday Musical as we continue to recover from the effects of the pandemic on our audience and membership numbers.
Thank you again!
