Thursday Musical Memberships

ATTENTION THURSDAY MUSICAL MEMBERS!!!

As Thursday Musical begins this new program year, the excitement is building and the energy is palpable!

In other words…. CRESCENDO is happening! With a full roster of programs, it promises to be a great year of music that will enrich and inspire our lives as performers, audience members, supporters, and donors.

As an Organist, I know that most organs have a crescendo pedal. It is a pedal that can be programed to gradually add stops and thus build up the sound with a push of the organist's foot. From the softest sounds, the ranks of pipes keep building until the full organ is sounding … from a whisper to a roar!

It is this metaphor that I would like to offer as we think of growing our membership. The pandemic of the last years has taken its toll. But now is the time to move forward; to PUSH that CRESCENDO pedal to its full force!

At last count, Thursday Musical membership is at 94 heading towards an exciting goal of 200!!!

So, let’s join ranks as musicians and audience to create a TUTTI for our organization…. a true SFORZANDO!!!

Artist Series

After two years of wondering how and when to schedule live performances, Thursday Musical is happy to be planning a full season of 13 in-person concerts. MacPhail will host the opening concert on the morning of Oct. 6th and Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd will be the site for two evening concerts in 2023 (Jan. 12 and April 20th). Tara continues to work on scheduling the season, so keep your eyes open for more details. We looking forward to being together again to make music and to affirm our community.
