Tara Priolo, soprano

Vibrant soprano Tara Priolo leads a diverse career teaching and performing with passionate tenacity and bold creativity.  She finds herself at home in both the choral and chamber communities lending her hand as a section leader, administrator, and soloist.  As an educator she shares her propensity for enlivening students’ confidence paired with her strong interest in vocal pedagogy. Frequently requested as a guest soloist by smaller organizations and colleagues, Tara enjoys performing a variety of new compositions as well as the classics. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota Tara engages audiences and students alike with dynamic, thought-provoking, and unique performances and lessons.

Coupled with teaching and performing, Tara is also honored to serve as Operations Manager with Thursday Musical. She is also Co-Manager for Opera on Tap-Twin Cities and is an administrator for Out of the Box Opera. Tara is also excited to add to her accomplishments a ‘Social Media Marketing’ Certificate and is currently running the Social Media Campaigns for Exultate Chamber Choir and Orchestra, Thursday Musical, Opera on Tap and her personal studio. Tara successfully juggles all of these obligations in addition to raising two dogs, Millie and Moose, with her husband Ross. She is proud to hold a MM in Vocal Performance from University of Minnesota – Duluth and a BA in Vocal Performance from Luther College. 

 

Suzanne Kennedy has soloed with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, won first place in the Schubert Club Auditions, and appeared in the Minnesota Opera chorus. She has performed nine opera roles. Sue has appeared in recital with Schubert Club and Thursday Musical and in major works with orchestra at Grace-Trinity Community Church and the Music Association of Minnetonka. She was been alto section leader for Wayzata Community Church, Edina Chorale and Minnesota Chorale.

 
Stephanie Thorpe, soprano

Stephanie Thorpe, soprano

Dr. Stephanie R. Thorpe, soprano, is a music faculty member at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she teaches classical, musical theatre, and contemporary vocal genres. Her performance career includes classical, contemporary, and musical theatre genres. Dr. Thorpe was a winner of the Nevada District NATS Artist Awards, and a Regional Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. She received a D.M.A. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, a Vocology Certificate from the National Center for Voice and Speech, an M.A. from the University of Iowa, and a B.A. from Briar Cliff University.
