Minnesota born cellist Dr. Daniel Keeler is a passionate musician, educator, and composer. Praised for his “lush” and “energetic” playing, Daniel has performed across the United States as a soloist, orchestral, and collaborative musician. He has established himself as a pedagogue with numerous masterclasses and lectures at schools and clinics across the country. As a performing musician, his leadership roles span nearly a dozen orchestras at the community, collegiate, and professional levels. As an educator, Daniel is the string ensemble director for Concordia University-St. Paul, an orchestra director for Mounds View Public Schools, and teaches private lessons in the Twin Cities. He holds degrees from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, the University of Missouri-Columbia, and the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

A Minnesota native, Nathan Kennedy joined the Concordia University - St. Paul faculty in 2012, where he teaches applied and class piano, theory and ear training, and accompanies the Christus and Jubilate choirs. Versatility has been an important part of his career, which includes serving as rehearsal accompanist and music director for various musical theater productions in the state, as well as engagements with several honor 5 

choirs over the past decade, in addition to regular appearances on the faculty recital series at CSP. Chamber music is his passion, having earned a DMA at the University of Minnesota, studying under Timothy Lovelace and Noriko Kawai. He also holds master’s degrees in piano performance and 

Scotty Horey (B.A., M.M.A., D.M.A.) (USA) is solo percussionist, drummer, and teacher residing in Wilmington, Delaware teaching at the Music School of Delaware. From 2020-2022, he lived in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico where he held the position of full professor of percussion at the famous Universidad de Ciencias y Artes de Chiapas, the top percussion school of Mexico. His strongest passions in music and teaching include classical music, contemporary-classical music, progressive rock and jazz fusion, mind/body “holistic” awareness, and cultural exchange. He has been a featured solo artist and educator all over the USA, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Portugal, Denmark, Poland, Greece, Mexico, and Colombia at major international festivals and universities. Scotty was called “the Twin Cities’ hungriest young percussionist” by New Music Box, and “a performer of intelligence, raw artistry, and the utmost concentration and energy” by inter6 

national icon composer James Dillon. He has worked with many prestigious performers and organizations including the Minnesota Orchestra, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Ordway Center for Performing Arts, and Ohio Light Opera.
