Performer Information
Dragan Stojkovic is a native of Belgrade, Serbia, where he received a bachelor of Music degree at the Music Academy. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts and a Master degrees in violin performance from the University of Minnesota. Dragan has been a violin and viola teacher and a freelance violinist for almost twenty years in the Twin Cities. He currently teaches at home, and is a violin instructor at Normandale Community College. Locally he has performed performed with the Minnesota Opera, Vocal Essence, Minnesota Sinfonia and other ensembles.
Jane Thelen has performed in the Metro area with several organizations and was most recently seen as Mary Poppins in Buffalo Community Theater's production of Mary Poppins. She has performed with the Minnesota Opera chorus in numerous productions and was the Milliner in Der Rosenkavalier. Favorite roles include Adele in Die Fledermaus, Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring and Anne Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor. Jane has been featured as a soloist in Handel's Messiah, The Mozart Requiem and The John Rutter Requiem. She currently teaches voice from her home in Andover, MN and is thrilled to be a part of Thursday Musical.
