Performer Information
Adjunct Professor of Flute at Concordia University (SP) and the University of St. Catherine, Dr. Jennifer Kennard has performed with the Minnesota, Grand Rapids, and Lansing Symphony Orchestras and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. Dr. Kennard has performed and taught throughout New York and the Midwest, Alaska, and Australia. Her teachers include Richard Sherman, Ervin Monroe, and Ken Andrews.
Mary Kirchner, mezzo-soprano, has been a member of Thursday Musical since 1979 and a performing member since 1984. In the course of that time she has served in various capacities on Thursday Musical’s board. She served as Community Concert Chair and in 1992 was elected president serving in that capacity during the organizations Centennial Season. She was then elected to serve as Nominating Committee chair and in the early years of 2000 she served first as Vice President of membership and then for one year, as president, filling out another’s term.
Dragan Stojkovic is a native of Belgrade, Serbia, where he received a bachelor of Music degree at the Music Academy. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts and a Master of Music degrees in violin performance from the University of Minnesota. Dragan has been a violin and viola teacher and a freelance violinist for over twenty years in the Twin Cities. He currently teaches at home, and is a violin instructor at Normandale Community College. Locally he has performed with the Minnesota Opera, Vocal Essence, Minnesota Sinfonia and other ensembles.
